Otters 5 vs. Exiles Jet Services 17
(3-6, 1-3, 1-4, 0-4)
In an earlier match, Exiles Jet Services notched up their third victory on the trot easily beating Otters by 17 goals to five. Their edge in speed and power was translated into this comfortable victory, with the Gozitan team only made to fight in order to restrict the damage.
Impressive in this match were Timmy Sullivan and Karl Rizzo Naudi who scored three goals apiece with aggressive attacking and ruthless finishing the order of the day exposing the considerable defensive deficiencies of the Otters team. Revaz Chomakidze is also coming into his own scoring three goals after the four he netted against Marsascala on Friday.
From the third session onwards, it was practically dominance all over for the Exiles team scoring eight goals for whom star foreigner and top scorer Aurelien Cousin was in the background even if he scored twice.
