Marsascala 6 vs. Exiles Jet Services 15

With both teams coming from victories in their previous encounters, Marsascala Peak and Exiles Jet Services were looking to gain precious points in their fight against Second Division waterpolo after the preliminary round.

Exiles started strongly and won the first session 2-0 with goals from Cousin who converted a penalty and through Martin Calleja from a good counter.  The second session was a high scoring one with Exiles still increasing their advantage as they edged it 4-3 with Marsascala scoring through Licari, Grixti and Suti.

Exiles made their win certain in the third session where they scored three goals without reply through Pace Lupi, Calleja and Chomakidze with Marsascala fading badly although they scored through Cremona. At the end of the session, Sullivan made it 10-4.

The fourth session saw Exiles increase their winning margin with two goals from Chomakidze and Cousin who scored three with Marsascala scoring through Licari and Botond.
